How many schools make their games available online? In past years I've watched games online at RIC, and I've listened to radio broadcasts online from ECSU. I see Plymouth now has Livestats.
ECSU at UMB is postponed due to unplayable conditions (standing water on the field after hours of rain). No make up date announced.

USM at UMD also postponed until Monday, 10/19.
Keene over RIC, 3-2, to grab hold of the LEC lead 3 games into the schedule.
PSU holds serve over WCSU, 2-0. Standings tighten, as per standard LEC season.
That is a big win for Keene as they now hold the head to head against the two other teams that seem to be gunning for top spots.
That is a much needed win for Plymouth as they still have to play RIC, Econn and UMD. They have kept their playoff hopes alive for now. That USM/UMD game now seems to hold even more weight for that # 4 spot.

If you guys are interested in watching Keene X RIC, it is on the site. You just have to click the live video button and it will pop up in Windows Media Player I believe.
The game was sloppy and some bad goals were scored. Keene was not the better team from what I saw. The second Keene goal does not even pass the line. I think the teams that postponed their games did well in doing so. The weather was horrible to play with the flooding on the fields. Results mean nothing as far as quality of ball as far as I'm concerned.
Did anyone catch the Plymouth game?
UMD USM will play their match on the 19th at a neutral site in the Boston area due to it being a weekday and the long drive for Maine.
Boston will play their game against ECSU I believe trhe 23rd or something in that area. That is what I have heard, but I have forgotten the exact date.
Looks like Plymouth is picking up steam after a string of losses. can they carry this momentum into this weekend and defend their home turf vs a tough RIC team? what do you guys think? any other thoughts about the weekends match ups:
Eastern at USM
RIC at Plymouth
Dartmouth at Keene
Boston at Western
Hi all, glad to see alot of you back this year. My son graduated last year (actually he's in his 4 and a half year but will graduate from Plymouth soon) and he misses the LEC almost as much as I do! He's been at the PSU home matches this year and from what he tells me all of you are spot on with your comments. I do wonder about the level of play this year but who can really tell? I just called him and got the lowdown on the Tufts match, seems most of the play in the first half was in Plymouth's end but they turned it around about halfway through the second half. I asked about Duker and was told he was shredding people all over the pitch, good player. Looks like another good, competitive year in the LEC, I'm interested in how it all works out. I enjoy reading all your comments, keep posting!
Studsup, my predictions (for what good they are) ESCU 3 Maine 1 RIC 3 PSU 1 Keene 2 Dartmouth 1 and WSCU over Boston 2-1 Should get interesting if Keene pulls out another one. I haven't seen a single match but from what I've read maybe Keene doesn't get by Dartmouth?
Eastern at USM - 2-2
Playing at USM is a long ride for Econn. If they can keep Fantle underwraps they may be able to steal a point.
RIC at Plymouth - 4-2
Semir will provide offense for Plymouth. However I don't think there is too much beyond Semir and RIC will pull through on this.
Dartmouth at Keene - 1-3
If it was a home game for Dartmouth it could be another story. But having to travel to Keene is going to make it a very hard game after a long bus drive.
Boston at Western - 1-2
From the looks of this season so far Boston is a scrappy team. Playing at Western though is a huge difference from their home field. Boston's field is very narrow and on the smaller side while the turf at Wconn is almost nearing max size for a soccer field. I think Boston has some quick players but Wconn should know how to play their turf to their advantage.
Kudos to you both:
WCSU - 3
UMB - 0
UMD with an early over Keene at the half, 1-0 (game is on littleeast.tv)
OK, RIC over PSU 1-0, called my son and he said it was a poorly played match by both sides. Says RIC isn't the same team as last year so I guess they lost some seniors? ECSU over Maine 2-0 and Keene loses to Dartmouth 1 zip. Do these scores mean PSU is all done or that Dartmouth is a player by defeating the conference leaders? Anyone know anything about the Western win over Boston? 3-0 I believe...............
Well, it's certainly wide open as Keene missed their opportunity to pull away from the pack. It was a typical Keene game - lots of physical play with players and cards flying. The KSC match report includes this comment:
The chippy game featured four yellow cards with several huddles between players and officials.
UMD over Keene seems to be the shocker of the weekend. There are at least a few of these per season in the LEC. Was anyone at the game or hear anything about it? Is UMD the real deal? In terms of looking forward to the tournament, it looks like psu are finished along with wcsu and boston. Southern Maine still has a chance because they have only played 3 games so far. Their match up with UMD has major implications. This will either propel UMD into that 4th spot, or even better or keep Southern Maine's hopes alive. What does everyone think?
I am new to the forum so what's up everyone? I graduated last season from east conn and started there for three yrs. In my opinion, from what I have seen so far from the LEC teams so far this season in comparison with my experience playing against the same teams last season is that every single team got weaker. East Conn and RIC lost many influential players from last yr, east conn losing seniors and a couple players with off the field issues. I did see RIC play and they look completely different than last yr. Does anyone know what happened? Their all rookie goalie of last season wasn't even on the roster? and it looked to me that their entire defense is changed. They no longer have their two best defenders, pacheco who i thought was a junior last yr or adam philbin who i also thought was a junior..does anyone know why? Keene state, by there record in the LEC looks to be a completely different team than last yrs.
Earlier in the forum we talked a lot about key losses from last year and the consensus is that for the most part each team lost key contributers for various reasons, graduation and off the field issues. Tsunami: based on the previous discussion about how we see the playoffs shaping up, what do you think?
Not that it has anything to do with the LEC but I wanted to wish Charlie Davies and his family the best. Hope he'll be OK.
Most definitely
Here are the answers to the most recent posts about the teams.
RIC from last year coming into this year lost one senior JOsh Silva and their goalie who failed out of school. Kory Pacheco quit the team mid season and Adam Philbin also quit but before the season started.
East Conn. Graduated three defenders and the black kid up front. They return everyone else mostly.
Keene, completely new team. The coach last year stated that "he was going to completely re-do the roster" because he did not like what he had last year. They start 6 freshman and some sophmores. They will return to a legacy in D3 soon.
UMD did not lose anything of significance. They seem to be the most improved with the Keene side. They brought in a bunch of local transfers and return all key players. They also have been playing without one of their captains now for about a week due to injury.
Plymouth...believe it or not, they still have a shot. I like Plymouth, I just think they lack the "ganas" or the desire to win. I think Semir and Dre are two absolute studs.
USM... tell you the truth, I do not know. THe results are mixed, but they did loss Cox and the striker up top.
Boston, same thing, different day. The kid Zazzara is overrated.
West Conn. I thought they had really good freshman last year, but they are not panning out liek I had thought.
